“So be patient, [O Muhammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.”[40:55][Sahih International]

A self explanatory verse but a very important one. One to remind us that Allah always fulfills His promises. To remind us that we should always remember to ask Allah for His forgiveness and praise Him as He will always hear our call.

“If you disbelieve – indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the hearts” [39:7][Sahih International]

Allah doesn’t need us, period. We need Him. Allah wants us to believe so we can enter paradise it’s in our best interest; He cares for us and wants what’s best for us. In the end Allah knows everything we do; good or bad, concealed or reveled, He knows it all.

“O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?”[35:3][Sahih International]

SubhanAllah, we must remember that everything we have ever gained in this life, and what we will gain in the next life [InshAllah], is all from Allah. Nothing we have is from us, it’s all from Him. So let’s remember to be thankful and appreciate it by doing all that He has asked from us, InshAllah.

“Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned.” [29:57][Sahih International]

Something I’m guilty of is trying my best not to think of death. It terrifies me, it scares me to think of my time arriving while I haven’t done enough. But that’s no excuse to dismiss the reality of death, as the verse explains, every soul will taste death. Death is a part of this life and we must always remember it and keep it in mind.

“Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He is most knowing of the [rightly] guided.” [28:56][Sahih International]

SubhanAllah. It’s not always a successful mission when you want to guide the ones you love and care about. You may try but in the end if Allah wills for them to be guided they will be; for Allah guides whom ever he wants. And Allah knows those who are and want to be guided.

“Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?” [26:93][Sahih International]

This verse serves as a good reminder to us all. That all good comes from Allah then us. Without Allah nothing could ever happen. That yes; we do our best and put all the effort to succeed, but without Allah we will never succeed. That anything and everything we do is all thanks to Allah.

“We do not place a burden on anyone except according to his ability. With Us there is a book which speaks with truth, and they shall not be wronged.” [23:62][Mufti Taqi Usmani]

The truth of the matter is Allah will never give us more than what we can handle. If Allah has burdened us with something; it means we have the capability to handle it and over come it InshAllah. Continuing the verse; we were given a book with nothing but the truth, a book with all the answers, and a book with all the methods to help us through it all.

“O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed – that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.” [22:5][Sahih International]

SubhanAllah this verse gives me goosebumps. The amount of detail that is in this verse is incredible. How can one doubt anything after this verse?

“Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all”[19:60][Sahih international]
SubhanAllah It’s so reassuring the amount of times repentance is mentioned in the Quran. It feels so safe to know that Allah will always take our sincere repentance no matter what. And that doing good and being righteous will get you a pass to Jannah as well as a promise that you will not be wronged what so ever.
